Reception Applications – September 2025 Admissions
Applications for Reception places open from November 1st and can be made via https://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/Education/Admissions-primary/Apply/Overview.aspx
Alternatively you can contact admissions on 0300 111 8007 and select the option for ‘School Admissions and Transport’

Nursery Applications
Admissions for Nursery provision will be staggered throughout the year as outlined in the table below. Nursery applications will not be accepted outside of the correct application window.
Places for January or April starts cannot be reserved and held prior to application window opening for each respective term.
To register interest for a Nursery place, please complete the Microsoft Form on our school website.

Applications will remain open for longer if we still have places available. Please contact the school office to enquire.
Priority will be given to the following criteria in the following order:
- Children who will start Nursery in September (Autumn Term).
- Children who will start Nursery in January (Spring Term).
- Children who will start Nursery in the Summer Term.
- Children with siblings who attend Anna Seward Primary School.
- Children in the catchment area of Anna Seward Primary School.
In the case of oversubscription for places, we will use the above criteria to create a waiting list. Waiting list places will be offered if or when spaces become available.
Please note that a place in our school Nursery does not automatically give your child a place in our Reception Class the following year. You will need to apply for a school place through the usual Staffordshire application form.
